emma: be a sponge and be nice to others and that you'll be great someday
katie: good morning
alec: your eyelashes are dreamy
trevor: always honest with him about my opinion-not nice necessarily, but something he appreciates
5. How are you and I the same and how are we different?

I really found this part in the series interesting, and irritating.
Why did my kids come up with these answers? Why did they take so long to come up with their answers? All the things we have done together over the years, and they remember none of them? And no one answered "I love you" for something nice I say to them?
Crazy! I wonder if I do this again in a year or two, how the answers would change? And what about in 10 years? In 20?
And I have said I love you so many times this week! Are they hearing me???
