This is the 2nd part of the 3 part series. In this 2nd part, I interviewed my mom.
1. How did you feel the moment you found out you were pregnant with me?
Very happy, very excited. I wanted to be pregnant months earlier.
2. Was I a wonderful surprise or carefully planned?
Carefully planned, but I had to wait longer that I hoped for.
3. What was my most challenging time in my childhood? Why?
You were a good kid, always smiling and happy. You didn't become a challenge until you started "mouthing off" around 13 years old.
4. Did you worry more about me as a child or now that I am an adult?
More as a child. That you would get hurt, but you were always with me, watching over me. I made sure no one hit you with a stick and kidnapped you. No worries as you grew into an adult. You both (me and my husband) have good jobs and can take care of yourselves, so no worries.
5. What is one thing that you thought was deeply important when I was a baby that you now realize did not matter at all?
My kids always got toys and everything they ever wanted, but I did without. Now that you and your brother are adults, I realize that you don't remember the toys, that you didn't need to have so much stuff.
Linking up with Hooah and Hiccups. Come on over and see other blogger's posts. And come back next week for part 3, where I interview my girls.
