We're off to the Cape today.

Six On Saturday

M and I are heading to Boston tomorrow night on the red eye.  Then we'll be driving down to Cape Cod to spend 5 glorious days with dear friends at a beach house. Pinch me, I know!

Friday Wrap

Happy Friday everyone. It's time to share the grainy cell phone photos, bad lighting and all!

1.  Yesterday was the Day of Love v.21. Yep, 21 years married. Went to dinner and a movie (Before Midnight). No kids, just us lovebirds. 

 

 

 

2.  Anniversary dinner at the Melting Pot. Swiss cheese fondue and salads (house for M. and Caesar for me) and drinks (strawberry margarita for M. and sangria for me). I wanted to lick that pot clean, but I controlled myself!

 

 

3.  Went to the Phoenix Zoo. Way hot, but we had fun. Feeding this girl was the best!

 

 

4.  Been spending lots of time with these two. And really, really enjoying it! So nice having them so close by again.

 

 

5.  Having the above two around a lot means having the tater tot around a lot. Again, nice! This is my fave pic so far of the little one.

6.  Took the family to see Monster University. Yep, loved it. How do you not love Mike in braces?

7.  My new view in the car.  Extra kid and a car seat. We are a large group on the move!

8.  Another one of the Tater. This time posing in one of her constant silly faces.

 

 

This week has been amazing. Really loving that the pace for summer has slowed down. And feeling so grateful for all the family time. Doesn't mean that it has been perfect (life with teenagers...please), but I'm taking time to look past all the drama to see the good around me. And for that, I truly have a happy heart!

The Day of Love is coming this week (aka our anniversary).

Our 21st anniversary.

Wow, how can it be Friday again? This summer is going by too fast!

Also, we're going to see Monster University later today, watched World War Z last night, there was lots of time spent swimming, sleeping in, laughter (and anger) as a family, good eating, and many more memories created. It was a good week around here....

Relaxin'

Getting worried that I wouldn't post today?

Silly you.

Just taking it easy today.

Firstborn made breakfast. A first. It was nice to sit on the couch looking at Instagram while someone else cooked! Scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast.

Heading out to pick my camera up from the shop. I've missed it. And I will keep it in the case now. Lesson learned.

Going to watch some Zombies and some Pitt tonight.

I'm a happy momma. And no headaches this week!
