Make Something (Project Life)

OK. To be honest, I haven't made something just yet. But I'm getting ready to.

So that counts, right?

Any of you heard of Project Life? If not, come out from your cave and read more here.

It's basically a way to preserve your photos and stories, but in a simplified way, compared to traditional scrapbooking.

I dabbled in Project Life a few years ago, and really loved it. But, as I tend to do, I stopped after a few months. Anyone else have this problem?

I'm ready to start up again.

That means I'm currently in the stage where I'm collecting stuff to use on my Project Life pages. I joined the Studio Calico monthly club where I'll be receiving a kit every month. I believe that is shipping this week, so I should have it in my hands soon. Can't wait!

Today I'm planning on printing some photos from the last few weeks so I get hit the ground running when that kit arrives.

There are lots of free printables available if you don't have the money/patience for a kit to arrive at your home. Here are a few that I've gathered:

1.  Just Izzy Design Free Printable Download
Just Izzy Design -- free Project Life printable download

2.  One Little Story Free Printable Download
Shanna Noel -- free printable cards
3.  Finding Nana Free Printable Download

You can find more printables by searching on Pinterest or Google. I have my own board on Pinterest dedicated to Project Life here.

And if you start collecting massive amounts of cards, here is a great way to store them. I'll be searching my local used stores for one.
Project life card holder.
More info on this storage unit on the Simple Stories blog.

Now go make something today!
