1. The out of control bird of paradise in our front yard. It is obviously very happy. But what made me happy were these rainbow colored clouds. I didn't even notice them until I looked at the picture. Sweeet!
2. This boy had a birthday 3 weeks ago, but we're just now getting around to celebrating it. We had a family party this week, and while his sister was shopping, he stumbled across this jacket, and had to have it as part of his birthday present. Only this kid would be thinking about buying a jacket in July in Arizona, when it was 105 outside with humidity. But it does look good on him!
3. This week was all about "back to school". Haircuts and clothes shopping and immunizations and meet the teacher and book distribution at the high school. I spotted this sign in one of the dressing rooms.
4. Speaking of haircuts, this girl got about 3 inches cut off. Brave move for her! I love that she was willing to try something new. Bonus: it turns out she was happy with the cut.
5. Now that all the errands and house cleaning are done, it's time for a watermelon margarita. Yum!
