 Baby photo needs no explanation.

 

Teen girl is obsessed with this style of illustration. Got a text this week with all the princesses.

 

What to do when you know you can't wait all day to taste the cake you are making for desert? Make a single size cake that you can eat as soon as it cools down enough to add frosting. Brilliant!

 

Son looks like he may follow in his uncle's footsteps and become a warrior for a few weekends in February each year. How could he resist weapons and armor and hand to hand combat?

 

Sometimes beauty can be found in the old, rusty items in your everyday life.

 

Driving home with the kids bickering in back seat, as usual.  Mom's trick? Turn on the radio and hope everyone just starts singing along. Sometimes, if I'm lucky, it works.

 

Been spending more time in my kitchen in the mornings. I've been cooking more the last few weeks. Getting dinner ready early, making deserts, even homemade blueberry buckle last Sunday morning. And listening to Pharrell Williams. "So baby, ooh-ooh, my love is kung fu-uuh. Hey baby, ooh-ooh, sex is kung-fu-uuh." I might love this one the best.
