I sure do. I totally want to try everything. But then might not have time to finish what I start.
Yikes. No bueno (as a certain 16 yr old of mine likes to say).
So here are some updates on a few projects I've been working on.
1. Thankful journal.
I hate to say it, but I've lost interest. I really like the way my pages turned out, but I'm just done with the idea and ready to move on to Christmas. Will have to wrap up with a few more photos and call it done.
2. Walk a mile a day.
OK. I'm failing bad on this one too. Day 1 was Thanksgiving and I took the dogs and the hubby out for a walk before the family arrived for breakfast. Day 2 was Black Friday, and while I did not officially go on a walk, I did walk around the mall lots of times and figured it must have been well over a mile. Then, no more. I know. I feel bad. I haven't felt well. But I'm starting to get better, so I will continue on.
3. December Daily.
This is one of the projects I'm super excited to start on. This will be my 4th year doing this journal, and I've really enjoyed looking back on past years, plus it helps me stay focused on our family traditions and not let the time fly by too quickly. But....I need to get busy and get the "framework" done now, so I can just print photos and add words throughout December. I don't want to get bored before I complete the album and just quit like the Thankful journal.
4. Black Friday shopping
Went shopping. Had fun. Did not spend too much money, but rather used the day to gather ideas and make plans. Then took the little one out for some desperately needed new clothes, at 60 to 70% off. Yeah me! And dinner and a movie (Rise of the Guardians). Turned out to be rather a nice day!
5. Future Projects
So I'd like to sew a quilt, sew some shopping bags. learn to knit, learn to sketch, continue to paint, learn more about blogging, continue working on photography, restart Project Life.........
I know. It's too much. But it does keep my days interesting!
What would you like to learn how to do?
