We went out for a family dinner on Monday to celebrate Alec turning 16. He picked Texas Roadhouse. We tried to gather a fund to bribe him to sit on the saddle as they sang Happy Birthday to him, but no amount of money would be enough for that! Don't you just love using the flash on your camera, so everyone can have demon eyes?
I managed to work in a few hours of play time. I painted for fun. With my fingers, no less.
I completed a project. I resurfaced the top of my craft desk.
My view along the drive to work. I have a 35 mile drive to work, with a chunk through the desert. Sometimes the drive can be pretty, with bright blue skies and some green vegetation (even wildflowers in the spring). Not so pretty this time of year though. Everything is brown. The dirt, the dead plants. The sky was even a grayish blue. So depressing! Not helping with my current bad attitude regarding work ( which is really that I'm hating spending so much time away from my family).
I'm leaving you on that happy note. This was my second week at work, and I still firmly believe that work gets in the way of my life. And it keeps me from taking more photos for Friday Wrap!
Hope you had a great week and have an even greater weekend! Share your photos by clicking on the button below.
