So, this is all I have for you. Yep. Pretty sad!
It rained.While that is big news around here in CG, it's still not that impressive.
The rain was on the 4th. We had planned a surprise pool party for Alec's upcoming birthday. The showers kept some away, but it actually turned out to be a nice party. We moved it inside, but then, after pizza, brownies, and ice cream cones, we headed down to the pool. It was already dark outside and the temp had cooled down quite a bit. We had a really nice time, for about 30 minutes. Then the kids decided they would rather see fireworks than continue to swim. So 5 minutes before the fireworks began, we headed off. We ended up pulling into a neighborhood and watching from a park. Next year we will have to go earlier and actually make it to the venue and spread out that picnic blanket, But we could see and hear great from the park.
Otherwise, it has been a quiet week. I went back to work Friday. And Saturday through Tuesday. Then fireworks (no photos) and yesterday was a run around day (no photos). I will have to do better this next week as I try to settle into the work routine again!
