Spring Break

No, silly goose. We are not going to Disneyland.

Why ever would you jump to that conclusion?

We are going on a So. Cal. road trip.

What is that, you ask?

Night 1: Yuma, AZ
Night 2: San Diego, CA
Night 3: Los Angeles, CA
Night 4: Palm Springs, CA

Why would we do this to ourselves?
We just couldn't pick one place this year. We have little favorite places in each of these destinations (well, not so much Yuma, that just breaks up the travel). And we thought it would be fun to travel a bit each day, rather than a long day on each end of the trip.

Stay tuned. I will be sharing our road trip adventures along the way.

Just one more week of school.....

And doesn't everyone have a bowl full of these cute green men in their home? No? You should. They are a bowl full of happiness.

March Goals

 

 

 

Time for a new month and new goals.

Did you notice that some goals are repeats of previous months? Yeah, that's because some goals were not met.  And that's okay with me.  To me, this is a process.  I just like that I'm taking time to think of what I/we need to focus on each month.

And I adore creating the images in PicMonkey.  I'm having a blast playing with all the filters. You need to take 30 minutes today and edit a photo. It's super easy. And it's amazing what you can create out of nothing (the family goal print started as a photo of glitter on the surface of a shelf.

Change Something

New month. New focus on quotes.

 

I like to share a quote every Sunday. Something to think about as we as sliding into the new week.

 

March's focus is Growth. I'm at the 'not happy' circle right now. Need to change something if I want that to be different.

 

You see, I'm struggling with figuring out what to do about my shop. While I have sold a few canvases, the sales are few and far between. And I think they are super cute. But I'm doing something wrong here. Something needs to be tweaked. Or changed. I need to work harder on that piece of my life.

 

And I'm up for the challenge!

As I looked back at my photos this week, I noticed some themes emerge.

Sunlight and colors:
