Friday Wrap

It's the end of another week.

 Time to reflect on the moments and share a few photos from the cell phone.

1st volleyball game//team didn't do too well, but that leaves lots of room for improvement
 

1st time preparing and eating brussel sprouts (on the stalk no less)
 

had to check her chest to see if she was breathing//just in a deep sleep
 

watercolors and gold gel pen//creative play happened
 

 2nd attempt at kitchen made pizza//dough rolled out better but then I overcooked it

  1. Hey! Following from InstaFriday linkup. How did you like the brussel sprouts? I've yet to try them too! How did you season them? I am loving your art. That is really pretty and creative and simple yet lovely. You'd laugh at the last two times I've made my own pizza crust. It has ended up thick enough for two pizzas. Really good but seriously lol.

    1. For the Brussels sprouts I used the recipe on the tag that was attached to the stalk. Olive oil, syrup, salt, and pepper. I liked them, but not enough to eat a bowl full. Kids did not like them at all ( no surprise there!). And I didn't really make my dough either. Tried before and it was an epic fail! For now I'm buying pizza dough at Trader Joe's then rolling it out myself. Again, kids would just like me to call Pizza Hut. But we're trying to eat healthier around here.
