We went to Griffith Park to get a view of the Hollywood sign, but then decided to stay and explore for a bit. I would highly recommend spending a few hours here.
There were some cool, interactive displays involving the solar system and planets. We even went to one of the planetarium shows, which had "live" narration (I loved it, but it annoyed Mark). And there were spectacular views of the city.
We plan on going back on another trip to see the view at dusk/night and to have a chance to peek into the telescope.
