Woke up this morning, got kids off to school, came home, opened blinds and saw...green.
This is my first home with grass. We like desert landscaping here in Phoenix. And that is what we have always had (oh, and that one house with the dirt backyard).
So, I had to step outside and enjoy the green grass. Then I heard the birds. Chirping. Singing.
This outdoor space makes me so happy! And living in this house has changed me. When we are able to buy another house, I want something different. Some outdoor space. Something that feels like home. Something with mature trees and birds and green.....
