Right Now

Right now I'm:

Eating:  Tom Ka soup with rice added.  I haven't had this is years, and I can't even express how happy it made me to eat it again! Yum. Yum!

Drinking:  Iced coffee with 5 pumps of white mocha and 2% milk. Yes, Starbucks. Yes, still drink it too much. But I have been branching out and trying to find other coffee shops. Just no luck so far. 

Wearing:  Scrub pants and a tee shirt. Yep. It's a work day.

Starting:  Project Life (Seafoam kit arrives tomorrow) and One Little Word class with Ali Edwards and lots and lots of ideas swimming through my head.

Feeling:  Inspired.  Want to make some canvases for Valentine's Day. As much as I did not get into Christmas, I'm over the top excited to decorate for the day of love.

Reading:  Blog Inc. and The Good, The Dead, and The Undead and the latest copy of Better Homes and Garden magazine.  Reading multiple things at once is new for me. The old me would read 1 item at a time. Always.  The new me likes to have several different reads in progress at all times.
 
Watching:  HBO's Girls.  Have heard so much buzz about it, that I had to jump on the bandwagon (of course). Season 2 starts soon so I started DVRing Season 1 and watched 4 episodes. Hilarious. Not for kids (much of my TV choices are not for kids). But so funny, in a painful way.  Mark watched with me, but I think it is really more of a chic show.

Weather:  48 for high and 23 for low. Holy hell. 23 for a low. It must be our 4 days of winter. But I can't really complain. We still have clear, sunny skies.

Needing:  To get off the computer and go paint before I have to leave for work. Hmmm. That may possibly be a thing I need to do daily!

Thinking:  I sure would love it if that Ikea drawer system would build itself.  I thought I could get boy #2 to build it for a little spending money, but even though I asked him 4 days ago, he hasn't touched it (or been home to touch it).  I'm not sure who is going to build this thing for me. I know Mark has no interest. Help! If someone would build it for me, then I could clean off my desk and have more room to create.

Dreaming:  Of visiting friends and family and beach houses and the Mouse House in 2013.  I would love to go away 1 weekend every month. Not gonna happen, but I would love it!

Loving:  This blog. I really, really do. I didn't think I would like it this much, but I do. I love having a place to document the little things in my everyday life. I love that it makes me look at the world around me in a different way.  I love that it pushes me to try out some of those ideas I see on Pinterest and out in blog land, that I would normally not make the time for. I love that I have so, so many photos to document my life (sorry scrapbooking....you have been left behind for now).  And I love it when readers leave comments. That really makes my heart happy!
